Not to be confused with First Strike.

Template:Badge-infobox First Attack is a badge in Paper Mario and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. In Paper Mario, it can be bought from Rowf and Rhuff's badge shop after chapter 1 for 100 coins, and in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, it can be bought from the Lovely Howz of Badges after Chapter 2 for 100 Coins. If it is equipped by Mario, getting a First Strike on an enemy that would give one or fewer Star Points after a battle (which is considered to be "weak") defeats it instantly. Bump Attack, which involves defeating weak enemies after instantly coming into contact with them, overrides First Attack. In Paper Mario, it will not work against Amazy Dayzees and Dry Bones. In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, it doesn't work against enemies in the Glitz Pit or the Pit of 100 Trials.[1]
