Template:Minigame-infobox Chain Chomp Romp is a boss minigame in Mario Party 9. It is based on the Japanese puzzle game amidakuji.

Introduction

The camera shows a view of the players, the tracks, the cannons, and Chain Chomp. The camera then zooms in on Chain Chomp, who romps around slightly, followed by the two volcanoes in the background erupting, one after another.

Ending

Chain Chomp is blown back by the final attack. The stake it is connected to is pulled out of the ground by the sudden push back, and Chain Chomp flies away, revealing several Mini Stars. The volcanoes then erupt once more, one after another.
