Spike is the name of King Koopa's cousin in the movie Super Mario Bros. He works with Iggy Koopa (another one of Koopa's cousin) to kidnap Princess Daisy.
Spike is also the name for an enemy found in Super Mario Bros. 3. It appears in Iced Land stages, and attacks by pulling spiked balls out of his mouth and throwing them at you. A variety of Spike called Snowspike appears in New Super Mario Bros.
In Paper Mario, Lakilester's nickname is Spike. Foreman Spike is also a villain in the Wrecking Crew games.
