The Standard BW is Bowser's standard kart in Mario Kart DS. It features an orange frame and the Bowser symbol (a red, stylized image of his head on a black background) used previously for the Bowser Space in the Mario Party series for his emblem, unless the emblem is changed. It has one of the highest speeds possible, tying with the Standard RB, but also very low acceleration and handling, matching the Hurricane.

- Speed: 9.5/10
- Acceleration: 3/10
- Weight: 8/10
- Handling: 3/10
