Hello, I'm new here, but I've frequented this wiki for a long while.
Anyhow, I feel Terrapin's name might be a potential reference to a Grateful Dead album: [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terrapin_Station Terrapin Station.]
The artwork features terrapins (aka turtles), and I think might be why the enemy got changed from Nokohei to Terrapin (Ted Woolsey, SMRPG's translator seemed to be a fan of music, evidently with how Mack's name is Mack the Knife).
....This is probably a huge stretch, so I'm not requesting for this to be added to the page, cause Terrapin might have just been chosen as a segway for the Terra Cotta pun.

:: Yeah, that makes more sense. I'm a non-native english speaker, so when I saw that Grateful Dead album shared on the net my first thought was SMRPG for that reason, since I didn't know until recently it was an actual turtle species name. Sorry for the confusion.--[[User:Kirb-Star99|Kirb-Star99]] ([[User talk:Kirb-Star99|talk]]) 21:23, January 7, 2021 (EST) |

Merge with Koopatrol[edit]
Though the characters have a different name, they are visually-similar (armored-Koopa Troopas) and perform the same function (elite forces that guard Bowser's Castle). I propose we integrate this article into the Koopatrol article, with the relevant information split into the correct sections. Redstar 10:59, 30 November 2009 (EST)
No, because although there are similarities, merging them would imply that they are the same enemy. Not to mention Terrapins are much weaker and have their own sub-species.Knife (talk) 15:32, 30 November 2009 (EST)
Terrapin and a potential music reference[edit]
Hello, I'm new here, but I've frequented this wiki for a long while. Anyhow, I feel Terrapin's name might be a potential reference to a Grateful Dead album: Terrapin Station.
--Kirb-Star99 (talk) 14:22, January 7, 2021 (EST)
- Given that terrapins are already a real species of turtle, I think it's more likely that that's the origin of the name, not another piece of media happening to feature terrapins. -- Too Bad! Waluigi Time! 14:53, January 7, 2021 (EST)
- Yeah, that makes more sense. I'm a non-native english speaker, so when I saw that Grateful Dead album shared on the net my first thought was SMRPG for that reason, since I didn't know until recently it was an actual turtle species name.
