The Classic NES Series is a series of videogames for the Gameboy Advance that are remakes of old NES video games with the only changes being the graphics, which were slightly enhanced. In Japan, each game is called a Famicom Mini. Several of these games were only released in Japan.

Mario games released were:

  • Classic NES Series: Donkey Kong - it should be noted that this game does not include the "pie factory" level, a level exclusive to the arcade version of the game. Presumably the level was kept out due to the game being a port of the NES version.
  • Classic NES Series: Dr. Mario
  • Classic NES Series: Super Mario Bros.

Japan only games:

  • Famicom Mini: Mario Bros.
  • Famicom Mini: Super Mario Bros. 2 - This is a remake of the Lost Levels, as Super Mario Bros. 2 is what the Lost Levels are called in Japan. Follow the link to the game's page for more information.
  • Famicom Mini: Wrecking Crew
