Where do the gem names for ''Dark Moon'' (amethyst, ruby, emerald, etc.) come from? I'm pretty sure they're not in the game, so the only place they could come from is a guide or something. Can anyone confirm them, or are they conjecture? I know they're not in ''Luigi's Mansion 3'', which is why I removed all mentions of gem names for that game, but I don't think ''Dark Moon'' uses them either. {{User:7feetunder/sig}} 22:40, December 7, 2019 (EST) | Where do the gem names for ''Dark Moon'' (amethyst, ruby, emerald, etc.) come from? Name[edit]
This article has been called "Gemstone" since its creation. My memory may be failing me, but I don't recall "Gemstone" being used in the in-game text in Dark Moon, and there's no citation pointing to a guide or an official site or anything like that. So is "Gemstone" official or conjectural? Either way, they are officially called "gems" in Luigi's Mansion 3, and the article should be moved accordingly (it can probably take priority over the Wario: Master of Disguise item that currently occupies the "Gem" article). 20:53, November 7, 2019 (EST)
- They are called "gemstones" in a one-off fashion once Luigi collects the very first one in Dark Moon, but are referred to as "Gems" everywhere else in the game, so I'd say rename ASAP. (T|C) 11:30, November 8, 2019 (EST)
