A Bungee Piranha is a purple Wild Piranha that uses its stem as a bungee cord. Bungee Piranha Plants are very similar to Elasto-Piranhas. They hang on a ceiling, waiting for prey (usually a Yoshi) to come along. They then bungee down to grab their prey.
Bungee Piranhas has also apeared in Super Mario Galaxy.
