Yoshi's Piranha Plant Picnic

Template:Levelbox Yoshi's Piranha Plant Picnic is an official course in Course World in Super Mario Maker 2. It is the ninth level of Ninji Speedruns, running from July 15 to July 22. It is set in the ground theme and the New Super Mario Bros. U game style.

The clear condition is to defeat twenty-five Piranha Plants. The level starts with a slope, which leads to a Yoshi and two Piranha Plants that Yoshi needs to swallow, one on the ground and one hanging. After that, there are a few bricks and a Green Koopa Troopa, which the player can swallow to spit it at the three Piranha Plants and the stack of four Piranha Plants ahead. Next, a Pokey guards a Red Pipe that dispenses Yoshis, next to a Red Koopa Troopa and three more Piranha Plants near some bricks with a Dry Bones on it. Then, the player has to jump on some Donut Blocks next to three vertical Piranha Plants, and after eating them, slide down a slope, destroying another Pianha Plant. Subsequently, Yoshi must Flutter Jump up on a bridge next to a hanging Piranha Plant, where another Koopa Troopa and two Piranha Plants lie. Soon after, the player has to descend more donut blocks and swallow two more vertical Piranha Plants, near a Koopa Troopa guarding a 10-Coin. Finally, two bridges with four Piranha Plants underneath adjacent to the Goal Pole.

Description

"Team up with Yoshi to defeat all 25 Piranha Plants! Try looking for different ways to take them out, like gobbling them up or spitting Koopa Shells at them. You can check Yoshi's controls anytime by selecting Mario's Moves from the pause menu."
