The Creepy Steeple is the home of the Boos and the Atomic Boo in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Doopliss lives here, and he steals Mario's identity and name, making Mario a shadow. Mario joins Vivian of the Shadow Sirens to help get his name back.

The Creepy Steeple is beyond Twilight Town and at the end of the Twilight Trail. There is a secret entrance to the Creepy Steeple through the well in front of it. There is also a secret path in the northern corridor of the building, leading outside behind the Steeple, where there is a golden tree, the only source of Golden Leafs.
