The Portrificationizer starts with a metal cap, that Luigi can plug his Poltergust 3000 into. Then a blue box sorts out the Common and Portrait Ghosts leaving the Common Ghosts behind. Then taken through a tube to another box that squashes them smaller .Then it is taken to the middle of the machine to a washing machine-like bowl where  the ghost are flatted to paper-thin sheets. Then out the side it lands on a portrait  . The machine brings the ghost under a flattener to get even smaller. Then an electical machine shocks the ghost to stop it from moving. Then last but not least it is put under a picture-framing machine that cover the ghost in a picture frame,(To the Ghost it's like a seal.)then is put into the gallery.

The Ghost Portrificationizer is a machine by Prof. E Gadd in Luigi's Mansion that can turn anything into house portraits with the Poltergust 3000 attached, which were stored in Professor Elvin Gadd's personal gallery. After each area, Luigi would take all of the ghosts that he had captured, sort out the common ghosts and portrait ghosts and turn all of the portrait ghosts into paintings, each looking different and having a different frame depending on how quickly and how many pearls Luigi got while he sucking the ghosts up. The Ghost Portrificationizer can work backwards, according to the last part of the game, where Mario was run backwards through the machine to turn to normal after King Boo turned him into a portrait. Usually, it is called the Portrifiationizer.

Trivia

  • The first part of the Ghost Portrificationizer, where Luigi plugs in his Poltergust 3000, is modeled after a blue Gamecube.
