The Standard DS is Princess Daisy's standard kart in Mario Kart DS. It features a light orange frame, matching the accents on Daisy's dress, as well as a stylized image of the brooch on her chest on the hood for her emblem, unless the player changes it. It has a high drift (comparable to the Light Dancer and Royale) while it also has a low handling (equal to the Royale) and at the same time, its speed, acceleration, weight, and items are average.
