Start citing your edits with sources. MarioWiki:Citations explains how you do this. Adding upcoming game information without a source will lead to them getting removed and a warning being issued. 21:29, May 19, 2020 (EDT)

Luigi's Mansion 3DS

Hi. Regarding your edits on Luigi's Mansion, a space should always go before opening parentheses (like this); colons, however, don't need a space before them (e.g. "Jump: A Button").

Also, could you please provide source for your first and third bullet point here? As this is dealing with upcoming content and doesn't seem to be found anywhere in the official trailers, failing to provide a reference for your information may lead to it getting removed. Italics

When naming game titles, please remember to italicise them. You do that by clicking the I icon above the text box and typing the name in, or typing two apostrophes before and after the name, so Super Mario All-Stars (Super Mario All-Stars) must be written as Super Mario All-Stars (Super Mario All-Stars). Please recall what I said here. Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 20:38, November 8, 2019 (EST)

Italics don't work with quotation marks ("Super Mario Party"); they need to be double apostrophes (Super Mario Party). Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 04:39, December 31, 2019 (EST)

Please stop forgetting italics after being reminded multiple times on the Super Mario Wiki. This isn't a warning, and it's possible that you made a mistake by accident or without realizing it; this is simply a reminder for your information. If the action continues, then a warning will be issued. Thanks for reading and keep contributing.
If you feel this reminder was undeserved, you may appeal it.

Warning.svg This is a warning to stop your inappropriate behavior (forgetting italics) on the Super Mario Wiki. Please adhere to the rules or you will be blocked from editing this site.
If you feel this warning was undeserved, you may appeal it.

Please remember this guideline; you've been reminded multiple times and would have noticed other game titles on the article using them. Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 11:02, May 14, 2020 (EDT)

Possessive pronouns

When referring to objects or non-gender-specific subjects, you use "its", not "his" ("his" is used for male subjects). e.g. "Tower restored of its colors." Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 08:39, July 27, 2019 (EDT)

Minor edits

Hey, just reminding you to check the "minor edit" box when you fix typos or change text to have correct grammar. If it doesn't really change the content of an article, it's a minor edit. Thanks, and keep editing. JoeRunner (talk and stuff) 10:17, August 14, 2019 (EDT)

Oh, sorry. Apparently the "minor edit" button isn't available on mobile. Sorry! JoeRunner (talk and stuff) 10:24, August 14, 2019 (EDT)

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon levels

Descriptions for images belong in the game's gallery, not in individual level/mission articles. Please keep this in mind when editing. Thanks! Toadette icon CTTT.pngFont of Archivist Toadette's signature(T|C) 16:03, August 21, 2019 (EDT)

You are ignoring this. The infobox doesn't need the caption. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 16:13, August 21, 2019 (EDT)
This reminder has been overturned by the MarioWiki staff. The original reminder can still be viewed.

Any information you added has been removed, and will continue to be removed. Continuing to add the information and ignoring the reminder will result in a warning. Level infoboxes do not need a caption, it's more suited to a gallery image. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 16:19, August 21, 2019 (EDT)

After discussing this further with the admins, the warnings have been overturned. Like any other infobox, there's nothing wrong with having a caption in the level infoboxes. They can be added back. Apologies. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 12:17, August 22, 2019 (EDT)

Grammar

"a" when used before a word beginning with a vowel should be "an" (e.g. "an elastic platform" instead of "a elastic platform"). Please try to watch your grammar, including what I said above about spaces before parentheses, as well as spelling - a common mistake you're making is "starring" (as in looking at something), which should be "staring". Linking

To link to another page with a different name in the link, it's done like this:

The name displayed

e.g.

Nintendo 3DS remake

Something to keep in mind since you left a dead link here. Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 00:04, October 5, 2019 (EDT)

Fan-related info

Please avoid adding fan-related information like a game is "considered one of the best/classic/iconic/etc." and that "many fans requested a remake" based on what you've likely heard around the game community, forums etc. (This is also not a typo btw) especially without providing anything to back it up. For reception sections in particular, it should be a summary of a consensus based on the critics' reviews, not yours or fans'. Do not assume facts, please.
