Power Shots are special moves that appears in two games in the Mario Tennis series, being Mario Power Tennis and it's successor, Mario Tennis: Power Tour. There are two different types of Power Shots, Offensive Power Shots and Defensive Power Shots, both are which can be activated by filling the power gauge and either pressing a certain button or automatically, depending on the player's controls. Every character that can use Power Shots, with the exception of Clay and Ace, has one Offensive Power Shot and one Defensive Power Shot assigned to them. Most Offensive Power Shots have unique effects, such as slowing down opponents or knocking them back. Defensive Power Shots are used to reach far away balls that could not otherwise be reached. Defensive Power Shots do not have special effects, however they can stop the effects of Offensive Power Shots. Power Shots are later replaced by Chance Shots in Mario Tennis Open and Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash.

Layer Cake Desert is a golf course that appears in the Nintendo 3DS game Mario Golf: World Tour. It is based upon 'Shy Guy Desert from Mario Golf, with the same course layout, with modern changes in the music and design, looking like Layer-Cake Desert from New Super Mario Bros. U. It is similar to Shifting Sands and Dunes as it is a desert-based golf course, with sand being a main obstacle. It must be bought with actual money in the Flower Pack, which also comes with Sparkling Waters and Nabbit. The course is an eighteen hole Par 72 course.

Mario Tennis: Power Tour
The Forest Course is a golf course that appears in Mario Golf: World Tour for the Nintendo 3DS. It is the most basic course and serves the purpose of the learning course for the game. It is similar in appearance to Lakitu Valley, Marion and Toad Highlands in terms of simplicity and area.
There are 44 Power Shots in Mario Tennis: Power Tour. Clay and Ace can use 32 of these Power Shots, which they must unlock by reaching certain levels in the PS Minigames.

Character Guideline Inclusion
Antagonists
Seeing as we've had a numerous amount of proposals concerning splitting or merging pages, not just now but over the lifelong course of the wiki, it's time that we should make some small guidelines to what pages should and shouldn't exist regarding characters. This would go in the article guidelines section of the Mario Wiki, but wouldn't be a strict policy, instead merely guide the creation of character pages. The following should enter the page, however without the examples I have put in, and likely better grammar and wording. The examples are there for your understanding.

Characters<br>
<gallery>
If the character is unintended to be distinguished as their real character, for a long period of time, than they deserve an article. (Shadow Mario, Mr. Pipe) If they are the same character simply in a disguise, then it is merged, (The Goodwill Ambassador) Unless it involves characterstic changes, such as a different personality. (Mr. L, Rookie) If a character appears as a separate form that isn't a mere power-up they deserve an article. (Metal Mario (character)) If the character comes from a different point in time to the other character it's based off, it gets an article. Different versions of characters in RPG games (such as "X" or "R" versions) receive their own articles. Also, be aware of page traffic. If people are going to look up something, a redirect will not help, and just because they have a spot in a roster doesn't particularly mean that they deserve an article.
