Template:Minigame-infobox Monty's Revenge is a Battle minigame that appears in Mario Party 7 and returns in Mario Party: The Top 100. Its name is a pun on "Montezuma's Revenge," a type of traveler's diarrhea.
Introduction
The first player is looking around while in their hole, then they become surprised and get back in just before a Monty Mole hits them.
Gameplay
The game is a "reverse Whack-a-Mole": the players pop their heads in and out of holes in the ground to avoid being whacked by hammer-wielding Monty Moles. The objective is to stay above ground for as long as possible without being hit; if a player gets hit, their timer stops as they are stunned for a few seconds before going back in. After 30 seconds, the player who remained above-ground longest is declared the winner.
