Template:Minigame-infobox Deck Hands is a Battle minigame in Mario Party 7, and it returns in Mario Party: The Top 100. The name comes from the "all hands on deck" boatswain's call.

Introduction

The cards all fall from above and land in a pile in front of Shy Guy. Sections of the floor then open up, and platforms with the players on them rise. The camera then switches to the view of Shy Guy, who then looks at the first player.

Gameplay

In this minigame, players take turns choosing cards numbered 1 through 13 from the table.

The cards are face down, making this a game of chance. Each player gets three turns to choose a card. In the first round, the order of play is random, but in the succeeding rounds, it goes by who got the lower-numbered cards. There is only one of each card numbered 1 to 13 in the deck. The highest possible score is 36, and the lowest possible score is six.

The player with the highest total value of their cards wins.

Ending

The one card remaining after the players have chosen the others returns to the center of the table, and the camera switches views to show all the players and Shy Guy. In Mario Party 7, the winner then does their victory animation, with Shy Guy cheering in the background.
