Template:Minigame-infobox Apes of Wrath is a duel minigame in Mario Party 7. Its name is a pun on the novel, The Grapes of Wrath.
Introduction
The opening cut scene of the game shows the two characters biting apples belonging to Ukikis in the forest, which then become angry at the players.
If Yoshi, Birdo, or Boo are participating, they will eat the entire apple rather than just taking one bite like the other characters. If Dry Bones is participating, his head will be detached when eating the apple. If Toad or Toadette are participating, they will take a bite, but not lift up the apple.
Gameplay
The objective of this game is to avoid capture by using the stage to evade the Ukikis. The Ukikis will usually chase the character closest to them, and more of them appear the longer the players avoid being caught. If any of the Ukikis come too close to a character, they will be caught; the character who can avoid being caught the longest wins.
Ending
The loser is carried off by the Ukikis while the winner performs their victory animation.
