Template:Missionbox Luigi's Purple Coin Chaos is the second mission of the Mario Squared Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy 2. This mission can only be played if the player collected the Comet Medal in the previous mission and when there is a Prankster Comet in orbit.
Mission
When the Prankster Comet is unlocked, the player ends up on the 8-Bit Luigi Planet Half. This mission resembles the Luigi's Purple Coins mission in Toy Time Galaxy of the original Super Mario Galaxy, with some key differences, such as the change in time limit and the number of Purple Coins being decreased to 100. To complete this mission, the player needs to get all 100 of the Purple Coins found on this planet within a two minute time limit. There are also Cosmic Clones that continuously follow the player and need to be avoided. If the player manages to obtain all of the coins before time runs out, the Power Star will appear on the platform where the player started.
