World 3-3 is the third level in Water Land from Super Mario Bros. 3. It is accessible upon completing World 3-2, and its own completion unlocks World 3-Fortress.

The 1-Up Mushroom

The level starts in a somewhat large platform, as the tide rises and lowers and a Boss Bass chases the player. Shortly after this, there is a Koopa Troopa and a line of Brick Blocks, with also some Wood Blocks and a Jump Block that contains a power-up. One Brick Block also contains a Switch Block. Next are some gaps followed by a Rotary Lift, two more Brick Blocks containing a power-up and a Switch Block, and two Ice Blocks. After that, there are several coins which will serve as platforms if the player pressed the Switch Block. Otherwise, there are some Brick Blocks above them alongside another Rotary Lift. There will be jumping Cheep-Cheeps in the process.

Afterwards there is a Warp Pipe which takes the player to the goal. However, if the player goes to the right, they will find a lone platform with a Brick Block containing a 1-Up Mushroom.
