Template:Missionbox Yoshi's Unexpected Appearance is the sixth and final mission of Space Junk Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy. The mission involves feeding a Hungry Luma.
Layout
This mission takes place during the third mission. By navigating to the Small Maze Planet, the player can find a Hungry Luma, who asks to be fed 50 Star Bits, which can be collected from the prior planets and in the caves of the current planet. By feeding the Hungry Luma the approximate amount of Star Bits, it will transform into a planet resembling Yoshi's head. Using the new Launch Star to reach the new planet will reveal that it is covered in Goombas. By defeating all of the Goombas, the player will earn the Power Star. Additionally, the "nostrils" of the planet will shoot out steam, which will damage Mario if it connects, and none of the Goombas will produce Coins or Star Bits when defeated.
