Fastest Feathers in the Galaxy

Template:Missionbox Fastest Feathers in the Galaxy is the second mission of the Fleet Glide Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy 2. This mission will become accessible when the player receives a letter from the Black Jibberjay through the Mailtoad.

Mission

On the starting planet, the player will find the Black Jibberjay that sent them the letter. Talking to him will have him challenge the player to a race, and accepting will have the player hang from Fluzzard and will be placed against the Black Jibberjay. The player then has to race him through the obstacle course, the layout of which is mostly the same as how it was in the previous mission. However, some enemies are placed differently, such as additional Undergrunt Gunners. If the player manages to beat the Black Jibberjay to the gate at the end, he will reward them with a Power Star.
