Based on the wording "in the original game" that was present before I made my edits to the article, I assume the Mario Bros. can fight Dark Trashures in the remake? Or is that not the case? --

No, anything the Mario Bros. can't fight in the original like Choombas or anything in the Peach's Castle interior, they can't fight in the remake either. Mario Sakuraba (talk) 22:45, September 11, 2019 (UK time)
