A Peachy Peach.

Peachy Peaches are a type of round, pink fruit available in both the Mushroom Kingdom and Flipside. The item is created as the result of a failed cooking attempt, usually involving an offensive item such as the Fire Flower or an alternative recipe calls for an offensive item. While technically a resorative item, in their effects are improved through cooking.

The cooking properties of the Peachy Peach are very unusual. The item can combine with other items that are relatively useless alone to create much greater items. Some items can even become higher quality versions of themselves as a result of a combination with a Peachy Peach.

The Mushroom Kingdom version of the item restores only one Health Point and two Flower Points on its own, but after being cooked alone or with other ingredients, its affects become much greater. The fruits that grow in Flipside are slightly more effective as curitive items, resporing twelve HP in addition to curing poison. The reason for this disparity is unknown, but it may be related to the ingredients used or the origin of said ingredients in the failed cooking attempt. Whether they appear in nature is unknown.

They are sold at Itty Bits in the Dotwood Tree for twenty-five Coins and are complimentary presents at Twilight Town's inn.

Recipies Involving Peachy Peaches

• Cooking a Peachy Peach alone yields Fresh Juice, as does cooking it with a Coconut. Through the use of a Cooking Disk, the item yields Peach Juice.
• When cooked in combination with a Honey Syrup, Maple Syrup, Jammin' Jelly, or Keel Mango, a Fruit Parfait results. By using a Cooking Disks, a Parfait can be made using a Peachy Peach and a Snow Cone.
• Fruity Cakes can be made through Cooking Disks by combining a Peach with a Mushroom Crepe.
• A Keel Mango and a Peachy Peach can create Fruity Punch with the assistance of a Cooking Disk.
• Fruity Shrooms are created with Cooking Disks by combining a Peachy Peach with a Shroom Shake.
• By combining a Long-Last Shake and a Peachy Peach using a Cooking Disk, Gradual Syrup is created.
• A Heartful Cake is the result of a Peachy Peach and Ruin Powder combination.
• Dried Shrooms can be revitalized into Mushrooms when cooked with a Peachy Peach.
• Peach Tarts can be made by cooking the Peachy Peach with Cake Mix. This recipe is also available through Cooking Disks.
• A Dried Bouquet and Peachy Peach, two generally useless items, combine to create the highly restorative Space Food.
• Similarly, the dangerous Hot Sauce becomes a Tasty Tonic when combined with the Peachy Peach.
• Zess T. can create her famous Zess Dinner using only a Peachy Peach and a Super Shroom.
• Likewise, one of Zess T.'s recipies for Zess Special involves a Peachy Peach and an Ultra Shroom.

During his adventures, Mario never came across the plant that grows Peachy Peaches. Rather, he found them being sold or offered as complimentary benefits. During his uest for the Crystal Stars, the plumber was offered one as a thank-you present for staying in the inn at Twilight Town. The owner silently left it on the table for his guest. While stopping the plans of Count Bleck, Mario saw them at the Itty Bits store in the Dotwood Tree.

Connection to Peaches

While the Peachy Peach resembles the Peaches of the Peach Kingdom and the world of Super Smash Bros. in both appearance and healing properties, they are two separate items. While the Peach grows naturally, the Peachy Peach is a man-made object. No evidence shows that the two are related, or that the Peachy Peach even grows naturally.
