Template:Levelbox Begone, Rotten Mushroom! is the twenty-ninth course in the Story Mode of Super Mario Maker 2. It is set in the ground theme and in the Super Mario World style. It is posted by World-Renowned Chef, and has a difficulty rating of 3/4 stars.

Layout

The level begins with a simple area with Hard Blocks, which is where the Rotten Mushroom begins chasing Mario. The next segment involves a few pits with Spike Traps, and the next segment features an area with some Mushroom Platforms, along with some Note Blocks to allow the Rotten Mushroom to cross them. Afterwards, a segment with two rows of Flimsy Lifts follows, which then delves into a final segment with Seesaws. The Giant Gate then follows.

Description

"I bought some mushrooms for a new recipe, but I left them in the car and now they're rotten. Rotten and vengeful. You're going to have to outrun them if you want the reward."
