In this game, one [[player]] needs jump up platforms to get to the top of a large tower, while the other three attempt to stop him by shooting him/her. When the Runner is hit by a one of them, he/she will be unable to move for 3 seconds, however it takes 1 second to reload a ball. Elevator platforms go up or down and may help the runner. If the runner makes it to the top in 30 seconds, they will win the Mini-game. If the runner is unable to make it, the team will win the Mini-game. | |||

Gun the Runner.
Gun the Runner is a 1-VS-3 Mini-game in Mario Party 8.
Gameplay
In this game, one player needs jump up platforms to get to the top of a large tower, while the other three attempt to stop him by shooting him/her. When the Runner is hit by a one of them, he/she will be unable to move for 3 seconds, however it takes 1 second to reload a ball. Elevator platforms go up or down and may help the runner. If the runner makes it to the top in 30 seconds, they will win the Mini-game. If the runner is unable to make it, the team will win the Mini-game.
