Identifier[edit]

Does the existence of Star World (Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge) really warrant adding an identifier to this? Both are worlds, but this one is from a considerably more relevant game. Dark BonesSig.png 01:33, 21 November 2017 (EST)

There's absolutely no reason this should use an identifier because of the amiibo Challenge world (which I should add, is even based on the SMW world). Not only that, the "Star World" term now redirects to the World Star disambiguation page for some reason. I'm moving them back. Title[edit]

It's called Star Road in-game. Why do this and associated articles insist on referring to it as Star World? Please find a single instance of it being referred to as Star World in some English documentation.

Super Mario World. Instruction booklet, page 21: "Star Road: WOW! What's this place? Find this star on the map screen and you know you've come to a strange place! But don't worry, if you can solve this puzzle, something good is bound to happen."
Nothing on the Super Mario Advance 2 booklet. There might be a reference to a player's guide or a Nintendo Power issue. I wouldn't rely on the names in other languages; as with a really old and terrible revision of Mushroom World, they're probably just word-by-word translations.
fyi the Super Mario Bros. Encyclopedia calls it...well, you probably know if you're familiar with its plagiarism from the wiki...SMW Mario Explodes.png Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 18:46, July 12, 2019 (EDT)
The levels for the area are called "Star World", and Super Mario World tends to name levels after their location. For example, Donut Plains 1. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 18:56, July 12, 2019 (EDT)
Makes more sense. "Star Road" would refer to the teleporting stars that you walk on. It's weird that the instruction booklet seems to refer to location as "Star Road", however. It actually seems like the instruction booklet is referring to both the warps and the location. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 19:03, July 12, 2019 (EDT)
