The Standard TD is Toad's standard kart in Mario Kart DS. It features a blue frame, matching with Toad's vest, and a stylized Mushroom on the hood for his emblem (unless the player changes it). It has one of the highest accelerations, tying with the Mushmellow, Standard SG, Egg 1, Cucumber and the Standard YS, but also a low speed, matching the Royale and Mushmellow, and a low weight, tying with the Standard DB, Standard YS, Standard SG, Shooting Star, Poltergust 4000, Light Dancer and Banisher, while its handling and items are average. It has high drift power, tying with the Standard BW, Hurricane and Mushmellow.
