Joe is an enemy found in Turtle Zone from Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. Normally, he swims slowly, but when Mario gets close to him, he would start swimming faster. Since he is an underwater enemy, Mario can't stomp on him, and fireballs do not affect him. He actually wears boxing gloves, but he didn't seem to use them against Mario.
