Template:Minigame-infobox Grin and Bar It is an 8-player minigame in Mario Party 7. Its name is a pun of the phrase "grin and bear it". This minigame's mechanics are similar to those of Hot Rope Jump's from Mario Party and Mario Party 2.
Gameplay
The minigame starts out with all eight characters running onto a stage after a curtain opening.
They stop on individual spots, next to their teammates, and have to jump over a large, bent, metal jump rope being rotated by Ukikis. As the game progresses, the rope rotates faster and faster. The team with one or both members left standing wins.
Controls
- / – Jump
In-game text
- Rules – "Jump over the rotating metal bar to avoid being hit. The last team with a standing player wins!"
- Advice – "The metal bar isn't straight, so you'll have to watch it closely!"
