Umm

How do Gummits resemble Jarvis from Luigi's Mansion? FakeIco MCD.png MrConcreteDonkey

How don't they? Tadaa!2.gifPlumberTadaaa!.gif
First of all, their heads are green, secondly, their heads are in different shapes, then Gummits are not bosses...

I agree with Plumber. They have similar facial expressions and similar head shapes. The color means nothing and status as enemy or boss means nothing either. Compare an Electrogoomba to King Kaliente. --FREAK ~Game GameBros.png Freak~ OUT!
gummits are items not enemies, so you should change this article completely. (Wario mario 13:06, 15 June 2010 (UTC))
Proof? FakeIco MCD.png MrConcreteDonkey
Items are objects that can be picked up and used to your own or other's advantage. If you can do that with those things, then they are items. If not, then not. Simple. Judging from what is in the article, they are not items. - Gabumon from the Digimon franchise Gabumon(talk) 16:14, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

Split?

Should we split those into multiple articles? They all have a separate Japanese name and per how he handle golden enemies. --Green Yoshi FanOfYoshi 02:49, 17 February 2019 (EST)

I'd support it. Niiue (talk) 03:00, 17 February 2019 (EST)
If i see no objections on it at this point, they can all be split without any problem. --Green Yoshi FanOfYoshi 07:59, 17 February 2019 (EST)
See Gold Cheep Cheep, and Spiny Cheep Cheep, they are split from the normal Cheep Cheep as well. --Green Yoshi FanOfYoshi 07:48, 20 February 2019 (EST)
Also, should i make a proposal to split them, or just by consensus? --Green Yoshi FanOfYoshi 05:25, March 27, 2019 (EDT)

The Golden Gummit and Spiky Gummit are basically respectively golden and spiky variants of the Gummit. They all worth different points. And we have plenty of golden enemies Gold Banzai Bill split from their parent article. Also, we have Spiny Cheep Cheep split from Cheep Cheep. They also all have different Japanese names.
