While orange, Yoshi's juice would turn enemies into platforms that remained stationary. An Orange Yoshi later reappeared in ''[[Yoshi's Island DS]]'', and was only playable on the sixth level of each world. In [[Super Mario Galaxy 2]], Orange Yoshis return and run at an incredibly fast pace and can run up steep slopes.

Orange Yoshi should not be confused with [[Brown Yoshi]], who only appeared in ''Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island'' and the Game Boy Advance remake, on every sixth level.
