Shadow the Hedgehog is a character from the Sonic the Hedgehog series, acting as an anti-hero, similar to Wario. Shadow was once enemies with Sonic, but eventually grew a friendly rivalry with Sonic, similar to what happened to Mario and Wario. Shadow has been confirmed to be a playable character in the upcoming Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, where he will be on Sonic's team, acting as Wario's rival.
