- This article is about one of Bowser's karts from Mario Kart DS. For Lakilester's move from Paper Mario, see Hurricane (move).
The Hurricane is Bowser's unlockable kart in Mario Kart DS. It is unlocked after the player beats the Nitro Grand Prix in 100cc mode. The emblem is located on the two tailfins. It resembles the Koopa Clown Car, but in the form of an airplane with two non-functional propellers. It has average drift and low acceleration, turning, and items, along with high speed and weight. It is a heavy kart, equal to the Standard BW, Standard RB and Standard WR. This kart, along with the ROB-BLS, Standard BW and Standard RB has the highest top speed in the game. The Mushmellow matches the Hurricane within drift level.
