A Basement Divided

A Basement Divided is the fifty-third live-action segment of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! Its corresponding animated episode is "Princess, I Shrunk the Mario Brothers".

Plot Synopsis

Luigi doesn't like Mario's refusal to keep the basement clean, so he splits the basement in half with an imaginary line. His half becomes the clean half, while Mario lets his become the dirty one. A man named Doc Freud comes by to evaluate the basement, and tells Mario that he's simply too messy. Because the kitchen is also on Luigi's side, Mario agrees to be neater, thus prompting Luigi to remove the line.
