Pirate birds
Craws are the green birds that carry spears in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. They make up the Robbo Gang on the east side of Rogueport and are constantly fighting with the Pianta Syndicate. Some famous Craw's are Gus the gate gaurd and the Dark Craw Mario fights against in The Glitz Pit.
"Craw" is word play on "crow", which is undoubtedly their species.
