The Cloud Glider is an unlockable glider that appears in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. It offers a slight boost in acceleration and air handling while slightly lowering the weight and the air speed stats. The glider is shaped like two Lakitu Clouds. In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, a CPU Lakitu occasionally uses this glider during races.
