| '''Flare Blade''' is [[Roy (Fire Emblem)|Roy]]'s neutral special move in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]'' and ''[[Super Smash Bros. for Wii U]]''. Roy charges up a fiery sword strike, attacking with a slash that explodes. The move charges for as long as the player holds down the special attack button and automatically attacks when fully charged. Fully charged, Roy's Flare Blade is capable of instantly KO-ing any opponent, though Roy also takes recoil damage.
