- Dr. Light, from the Mega Man series, not only created Mega Man, he also accidentally created a bad clone of Mario - the aptly named Wario.
- The gigantic Bowser Crush Mecha-Koopa was originally created to squish flowers and scare butterflies, but was later used as a weapon against the Smithy Gang.
- Clawdia Koopa is Bowser's wife, although her actual existence is questionable, as she was only mentioned as a joke.
