A whirlpool in the Sea

The Sea (also known as By The Sea and the Sea Caves)[1] is an area in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Despite its name, most of the accessible area in the game is a dark blue cave, with a small sea area at the end. The name "Sea" is the term used by the Seaside locals.[1]

The Sea is large and filled with several starfish creatures. It is also the site of a merchant's shop, and the entrance to the Sunken Ship.
