The Jet Bike is an unlockable bike body that appears in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. As the name suggests, it resembles a fighter jet. It is one of the few bikes that have an inside drift. It offers no top speed boost, but it does increase acceleration and handling, at the cost of weight and traction. It shares its stats with the Sport Bike, Comet, and Yoshi Bike. It is one of the several vehicles in Mario Kart 8 to have a supercharged engine. The Blue Falcon has the same engine sound as the Jet Bike, although lower-pitched in comparison. In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the Jet Bike's stats have been somewhat altered, and it now instead shares its stats with only the Sport Bike and the Prancer.
