== Starting Glitch (NEW GLITCH) ==

There is a glitch that occurs at the start of a race. This glitch can occur on any track. At the starting line when Lakitu appears try to get a starting boost but also try to blowout. if done correctly your character will go in to the blowout animation but have a boost. the character will still have to wait for the blowout to be over but it looks pretty cool. I have looked all over the Internet and haven't seen anything like it. So far I have played only on an Emulator, but it should work on a console. I'm thinking of calling it the Perfect Blowout, and I have gotten it to work a hand full of times, I'm pretty sure it's frame perfect so good luck. if I post a video of the glitch I will leave a link in my next comment. Good luck attempting this glitch.

::Never actually heard the track myself, so I went to look it up and it certainly doesn't sound like a glitch. There are additional instruments and the quality isn't choppy like most music glitches. Agreed this isn't a glitch, but what would be a good place for this information? ''Mario Kart 64'' trivia? EDIT: Oh, btw, [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iqqsewbj5Qw this is the music]. {{User:Alex95/sig}} 11:01, 7 March 2018 (EST)

Glitch on VC[edit]

I have the Virtual Console version and there is a glitch in Double Deck. If you fall off the top and onto the middle press the R button and you will be in the ground and stick out of it. Should we add this glitch.Fuzzy in New Super Mario Bros. UYoshiGo99Artwork of a Yoshi egg on a tilt. It is unknown whether this artwork was released with a certain game or not.

Yeah, it seems viable, so just give it a name and add it... :)

Confirming glitches on VC[edit]

Can someone here confirm whether the "Freeze Glitch" and the "Glitched Texture" glitches will work on the Virtual Console version because I only have MK64 on the N64.

--Nintendoofah64 12:44, 18 March 2012 (EDT)

I also only have the N64 version but all glitches on N64 would also work on Wii because it's a direct emulation with only a few changes, and they do not include glitch fixes. -MarioManiac164 (talk)

A new glitch?[edit]

When I was at Royal Raceway, when I fall into the water before the finish line, Lakitu drops me past the finish line!! king bill in position MEGAMUSHROOM82 that's me I don't think that would be a glitch...

P.S. On the final lap, I finish automatically.

Film it. --NewSMBU (talk) 16:34, 7 July 2012 (EDT)

Rainbow Road shortcut[edit]

The Rainbow Road glitch isn't a glitch, it's a shortcut. Why is it listed here? Sprite of Yoshi's stock icon from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Tails777 Talk to me!Sprite of Daisy's stock icon from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Where's the Bad A.I. in Bowser Castle glitch?[edit]

I wonder why it's not there... Maybe nobody knows it in this Wiki? --Kanato Edit (talk) 22:24, 9 January 2014 (EST)

Lack of music in 3 and 4-player modes[edit]

Actually, the lack of music being played on a racecourse or battle stage in 3 or 4 player modes isn't really a glitch. It was actually a limitation in the game, and Diddy Kong Racing was the same way. --PrincessDaisyFanatic3883 (talk) 02:41, 6 February 2015 (EST)
