Template:Minigame-infobox Pumper Cars is a Duel and single-player minigame featured in Mario Party 8. Its name is a pun on "bumper cars".
Introduction
The camera goes through part of the mine, then it comes to the first player. The screen splits into two to show the second player.
Gameplay
Players must hold the Wii Remote sideways and pump their handcars all the way to the finish. The first one to reach the goal wins. To operate the levers correctly, they must shake the 
up and down while holding 
and 
. If the player doesn't hold both buttons, the cart doesn't move.
Ending
The screen then cuts to the winning player in a different perspective, who stops to do a winning pose and then continues pumping.
Test for the Best
This minigame appears in Test for the Best. The player plays alone in this minigame and his or her objective is to reach the goal as fast as possible.
The scores required to earn a certain point total are as follows:
