My Very First Nintendo Game Boy was a short-lived series of Nintendo-themed board books spanning two installments titled My Very First Nintendo Game Boy: Donkey Kong Country and My Very First Nintendo Game Boy: Super Mario's Adventures. Both installments were published by Sunflower Publishing, written by Joanne Barkan and the games and illustrations were done by Dave Philips.
The books were shaped like a Game Boy, featuring a "screen" hosting a moving parts water game and two rubber buttons used to play the water game. Inside were a series of simple puzzles typical of children's game book, such as maze games and spot the differences. Both books also had a sidequest challenging the reader to find a number of hidden items scattered through the pages.
