| '''8-Bowser Castle''' is the final level in ''[[New Super Mario Bros.]]'' At the start, [[Podoboo]]s jump. After a room that has a gravity-reversing block, [[Rocket Jet]]s hinder [[Mario]]'s progress. In the next room, a [[Super Thwomp]] appears. After flipping the room, the burner room is also reversed. Then there is a [[Thwomp]]-, [[Dry Bones]]- and [[spike]]-filled room. After some stairs, the [[Halfway Point]] appears. Mario must traverse a short maze to the door to the final duel. This level has a time limit of 800 seconds , but, if Mario dies past Halfway, it will be shortened to 300.
