Template:Minigame-infobox Lunar-tics is a Duel minigame in Mario Party 6. Its name is a pun on the word "lunatics".
Introduction
In the introduction, the players jump from a rocket, activating their jet packs.
Gameplay
The object of the game is to land on the landing pad (apparently on the moon, as indicated by the minigame's title) as closely as possible to the moment the timer reaches 0.00. Each player has a jet pack. If they press and hold , they fall slower. The player with the time closest to 0.00 wins, regardless of whether the timer went past zero.
If a player holds down the button until 3.51 seconds are left on the timer, and then lets go, they will land with exactly 0.00 remaining.
Controls
– Fire thrusters
In-game text
- Rules – "Fire your jet-pack thrusters to control your falling speed. Whoever lands closest to 0 seconds wins!"
- Advice – "Gravity will pull you down even while you use your thrusters. Keep an eye on the clock while you descend!"
