Marrakech (Arabic: مراكش, Murrākuš; Berber: ⴰⵎⵓⵔⴰⴽⵓⵛ, Meṛṛakec) is one of the largest cities in Morocco, Africa. Along with Athens, Madrid, Mexico City, and Paris, it is one of the five cities in the PC version of Mario is Missing! Luigi has to visit in order to defeat Roy Koopa. Just like all the other cities in Mario is Missing!, Marrakech was invaded by Koopa Troopas. The enemies stole artifacts from various local landmarks: the Jemaa el-Fnaa marketplace, the Koutoubia mosque, the Saadian Tombs, and the Ourika Camel Market. Luigi rescues the city by finding the stolen artifacts and returning them to their respective landmarks.
