Template:Minigame-infobox Treasure Dome! is a single-player Bowser minigame found in Mario Party 7. It takes its name from the opening lines of Kublai Khan by Samuel Taylor Coleridge: "In Xanadu did Kublai Khan / a stately pleasure dome decree...".

Gameplay

The player attempts to get the key to the correct chest within the time limit. If the player gets the key in the wrong chest, they should move on to the next one and try again. However, if the player does get the right chest, they grab a new key and keep going. If there's time left, then the player should go back to the ones that are locked. If all of the chests are open before time runs out, the player grabs a gold key, which unlocks the door, and they win.

Controls

  • Control Stick – Move
  • A Button – Try chest

In-game text

  • Rules"One chest holds a key to the next chest, which holds a key to the next one, and so on. Open every chest to win!"
  • Advice"Don't agonize over which chest to choose next. Pick one and go!"
