The Vampire Candy is a green Candy in Mario Party 8. It has a picture of a Swooper on the wrapper, and when a player uses it, they transform into a vampire. As a Vampire Character, they spin the dart wheel to determine how many coins they will steal from the other players. They will then steal the determined coins by knocking them out of the other players, and the coins are then deposited to their bank. This candy's effect is similar to the Vacuum Orb from Mario Party 7.
The player transformed into a vampire will have a purple hue on them, as well as red eyes. When Yoshi, Birdo, or Blooper use the candy, their eyeballs are yellow with red pupils. When Wario uses the candy, he resembles Vampire Wario from Wario Land 3. On Tag Battle, players can steal coins only from the opposing team and not their own teammate.
