I'll extend my comments about Template:Cards for this template as well. In short: this template is unnecessary and unhelpful, its job already being covered by :Category:Doors without any added benefit. I believe that it should be deleted. ::Navigation templates shouldn't be based on the importance of its subject, only the necessity of the template itself. Besides, :Category:Cards and :Category:Doors currently have the exact same number of entries, and even then, the door category includes Trapdoor, which is not a door at all, Toy Block Door, which is a lot more like a gate with an elaborate lock than a traditional door, and Fence, which is just silly. Some of the other categories also don't seem like they're worth covering: the Magic Door is hardly magical, it just takes Mario to different locations like any other door (at the very least, it should be merged with Warp Door), and Key Door is literally a door with a lock. Dimensional Door and Goal door are also so mundane that I'd be fine with simply deleting them. There's a proposal that covers this kind of stuff, and Door was cleared out on similar grounds. None of this is particularly relevant to this template, but since you brought up the many varieties of doors, I thought I'd share my thoughts on the matter. 16:15, 31 July 2017 (EDT)

Necessity

I'll extend my comments about Template:Cards for this template as well. In short: this template is unnecessary and unhelpful, its job already being covered by Category:Doors without any added benefit. I believe that it should be deleted. Any thoughts? Navigation templates shouldn't be based on the importance of its subject, only the necessity of the template itself. Besides, Category:Cards and Category:Doors currently have the exact same number of entries, and even then, the door category includes Trapdoor, which is not a door at all, Toy Block Door, which is a lot more like a gate with an elaborate lock than a traditional door, and Fence, which is just silly.
