Cage Beasts[1] are lion-like monsters that live in cages in the Wario World level Wonky Circus. They are much too big for the cages they are crammed into.

When awakened, they begin by sticking their large arms out of their cages and swiping at Wario. Wario can punch them while they are not attacking; this will anger them, making them break their legs through the bottom of their cage and walk around. Wario must then daze the Cage Beast with a few more punches and use a Mad Move on it to finish it off.
